Heat the tar and pluck the hen its Washboard Hank and Reverend Ken!
A short five decades ago this pair of nascent musicians were travelling the cities of North America as street musicians – entertaining an unsuspecting public with hilarious routines, singing a mix of rootsy folk, bluegrass and original comedy songs.
In summer they travelled the rich Ontario folk festival circuit – which included the Killaloe Craft & Community Fair. Hank and Ken are joined this weekend by Fancy pants Lance on guitar and Sleepy Jim Gleason on the bass.
