History
Our event was started in the mid ’70s as a way for local crafters to sell wares and soon became an important social event for the community.
After several successful years on Fern Zadra’s land, the event had enough community support to purchase our current 100 acer property.
The Event
A volunteer run, not-for-profit community outdoor festival, the Fair features music, workshops, vendors, kids’ activities, camping and much more.
Located on a beautiful site with rolling hills and tall white pines, it is the perfect place to spend a weekend with friends and family. The magic of the event has kept it going for nearly five decades and in that time it has found it’s way into the harts of several generations. A growing community that comes together for one amazing weekend each summer.
The Organization
In 1979 the Fair organizers applied to incorporate, and the non profit corporation was formed.
Our 2023-24 Board of Directors are:
Gwen Stewart, Jude Cowan, Chelsea Stevenson, Frank Tettemer, Oona Woods, Taisha Levy and Tao Organ
