Ann Pohl is a Founder, Co-Chair, and the Animator of the KOV Chapter (Kitchissippi-Ottawa Valley) of the Council of Canadians, and coordinator of the local Climate Matters! Action Group. 3/4 of a century old, she has been an activist since she was a teenager. Ann boasts she has EVEN been active in some winning campaigns! With a total of 11 children and grandchildren so far, she intends to keep at protecting the environment and human rights for the rest of her life.
Ann will be staffing the KOV booth at the Killaloe Fair on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Stop in for a chat, to look at displays, AND create your own Ribbon of Hope. KOV has an intersectoral, multi-issue focus because as we know everything is connected. As the Fair gets going, times for discussion Circles will be established, for us to explore topics of interest to you and others.
