Rise and Tangent are on a mission To promote house dance and house music culture in Canada and spread its’ values of pluralism, tolerance, acceptance and unity; to foster an environment where dancers can learn, teach and expand their knowledge by inviting guest dancers and DJs from around the globe and to foster the movement strictly for the love of house and house music
As part of this mission they hold free, community-driven house dance practices called Capital Sessions in Ottawa as well as formal classes at The Flava Factory in Hintonburg
